E-book Readers Now Available for Check Out

~~Monroe Public Library now has a Kindle and a Sony e-book reader for check out to patrons. 

   Both the Kindle and the Sony are loaded with a variety of e-books, including popluar fiction and non-fiction and classics.  They also offer their own distinct features, so you may want to place a hold on each.

~~Monroe Public Library now has over 100 wii games for patron check out.  If you don't see the wii game you are looking for, ask a librarian. To see a sample of wii games available at Monroe Public library go to Wii GAMES.   You may also find the particular game you are interested in under the name of the game on the LINKcat online catalog. Want to use one of the wii games at a group meeting and need a wii console?   The Library also can check out a wii console for 3 days for group use to patrons with a library card from a library in the South Central Library System.  The console may be requested at the Circulation Desk or Reference Desk.

~~The Monroe Public Library Book Club regular meeting on Tuesday, June 15 is canceled.  No further meetings are scheduled at this time.
