Time to cool down with Lunch Bunch!
Lunch Bunch is a program open to students entering 4, 5, and 6th grade on Thursdays June 26, July 10, 17, and 24th. Bring your lunch to the program room on 2nd floor at the Library from 12:45 to 1:45 and listen to stories read aloud and do a craft.
Book Chatter Snack n’ Yak
Book Chatter is a book club for teens. Book Club is held the 4th Monday of each month at 2:30pm in the 2nd floor program room. Bring along a friend to snack and Yak about books. No Book Chatter during school vacations.
Writing club started in 2014 with leader Chris Page. The writing club will continue in the fall when school begins. Although you can keep writing in your journals all summer long. Remember, stories can be submitted to the Monroe Times Student Page or Teen ink online. Keep those creative minds writing.
4TEENS programs are for students in 6th grade and up. Programs are on held Mondays and Thursdays during the school year in the 2nd floor program room at Monroe Public Library. Students can play Wii games, board games, make a craft, or enjoy downtime with friends. Special 4TEENS programs are also held on these days such as Henna day, Duct Tape day, Cabin Fever Crazy Day and more. Check the 4TEENS calendar for monthly events.
