There is something special about every town—it’s a sense of community. It is why we put down roots, why we’re proud of our hometown, and why we work together to make it better.  We live in a great community—a wonderful place to live and work.  But the library building does not meet these standards.

The renovations we need are all designed to make the library an extraordinary place—more welcoming and able to serve people in new ways that bring us all together.  The Library Board of Trustees and Staff heard what the community wants, then had conceptual plans developed to reflect the community’s perspective. Monroe wants a building that will enhance downtown and provide opportunities for people of all ages, encouraging people to move here and to stay here.

The total goal for the "Let's Do Something Extraordinary for Monroe" capital campaign is $1,500,000. We need your help to make this happen. Please join us!
