Curiosity Days

We're celebrating curiosity and hands-on experiences for all ages during Curiosity Days! With three events each day, there's bound to be something of interest for kids, adults, and families.

Events Calendar

Monday
Library Playdate
Monday, April 6
at 10:00 AM

For children 0-6 with a caregiver. All siblings welcome.
​Stop in for open play, lap reading, and social time with friends. Playdates will be themed, with music, math, motor skills, and science--a different theme each day!
Guided Art
Monday, April 6
at 2:00 PM

For kids in grades K-12.
Join us for a creative workshop where art is a means and not an end.  Follow the leader through inspiring instructions to create one-of-a-kind art.
Explore Microgreens
Monday, April 6
at 6:00 PM

All are welcome.
​Janel will demonstrate how a novice can use resources available through the library to grow your own microgreens! Each participant will be able to create their own starter microgreen garden to take home.

Explore our Curiosity Kits

The library’s Curiosity Kits are designed to help you have a fun experience. Come try out the kits we offer! We will introduce our Memory Kits at this event, along with several new Curiosity kits.

​Gather up your darts and hone your skills at Nerf target practice stations.  BYON or use a library-issued ordnance.

​We’ll have coloring book sheets and drawing materials for all ages, plus we’ll cover our tables with paper to color together, creating large-scale masterpieces.

LEGO Genius Challenge

Honey Heist RPG

An introductory-level role-playing game, Honey Heist will have you pretending to be a criminal bear with two stats: criminal and bear. Your only goal? To raid HoneyCon 2020!

Explosive Ordnance Disposal

with the Air National Guard 115th Fighter Wing EOD Unit, led by SMSgt Gilbert Holcomb
All are welcome.
Learn what the Air National Guard does when faced with a bomb emergency! They will bring their Bomb Squad Emergency Response Vehicle (BSERV), a bomb-proof suit, robots, and more.
