Green County Genealogical Society

The Green County Genealogical Society has had its research center on the lower level of the building since 2012.  What seemed like a large space in the beginning has proven to be too small as the collection of resources has grown.  Though the Genealogical Society purchased space-saving mobile shelving in 2019, they could sorely use an adjacent storage space, as well as a welcoming lobby area and improved restroom facilities on the lower level.

IMPACT
  • Family history buffs from around the region come to our library to visit the Genealogical Society.  The group preserves our local history and educates the public on countless historical and research topics.
