Monroe Public Library is celebrating
20 YEARS on 16th Avenue! April 11-15 • Drop in all week to help us celebrate! Memory Book Share your photos and library stories from the last 20 years, to be placed in an album. You can write your story on paper, fill in the form here on the website, or share it on our Facebook page. We would love photos of all kinds! You can share pictures with us in the same three ways. A photo album of memories from the Ludlow Library sits in our first floor conference room, and you can help us keep the past alive with a brand new memory book! History Exhibit Our 1st Floor Conference Room will be open for a self-guided history exhibit each day this week. Take a look at the paintings of locations in Monroe, view the rare book collection, and see the video created for the library's opening in 1996.
Word Wall What do you love about the library? Leave us a note! We'll have paper at the checkout desk and the children's desk for you to write a short note, then stick it to the wall as part of a collaborative art project. Selfie Contest We encourage you to take pictures of yourself around the library and share them with us on Facebook or Twitter with the tag #MonroePL20. We will have a prize for the winner, chosen by the Library Director. |
