Friends of the Monroe Public Library
The Friends of the Monroe Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the library by enhancing programs and the library facility. Since its inception, the Friends have sponsored numerous library programs, advocated for furnishings and services, and worked many volunteer hours in the library.
The Friends strive to promote reading, literacy, intellectual freedom, and library use. They sponsor programs for both children and adults in the library. They provide additional funds to enhance the ability of the library to serve the community. They also demonstrate community support for the library.
