Award-Winning Fiction

8/19/2020

Laura here: I was recently asked about how to find award winners among the books in our adult Fiction collection. Here is a selection of books we own that are winners of some of the more high-profile prizes. Remember, there are many more awards than listed here, and most fiction genres have one or more awards of their own. Additionally, while over time, these prizes have become more diverse by awarding women and people of color, there is still a ways to go.

Continue reading for selections from among winners of: the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, the Nobel Prize for Literature, the National Book Award for Fiction, the Booker Prize, and the Women's Prize for Fiction.
